Privacy
Privacy and cookies, in plain language.
What this website collects, why, and how you stay in control. Last updated November 8, 2026.
When you contact us
If you send the contact form, we receive your name, business name, email address, the details you choose to give (phone, website, the service, package and timeline you're interested in) and your message. We use them only to reply to your request and to discuss a project with you.
Form submissions are stored in a database run by Cloudflare, and a copy is emailed to our inbox so we can reply. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, sent the form. We don't store your IP address with your request.
We keep enquiries while we're discussing or working on a project with you. To see, correct or delete what you sent, email hello@websterdigital.co.
Cookies and similar technology
The site uses a small number of cookies, in three groups. You can change the optional ones at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Necessary (always on). wd_geo holds your country and region, as reported by Cloudflare, so the site knows whether to ask for consent before anything optional runs. It lasts one day. wd_consent remembers your cookie choice for six months. The site also uses your browser's session storage to remember that you've already seen the opening animation.
Analytics (optional). On websterdigital.co we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are useful and whether the contact form works. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<ID>, which can last up to two years. Measurement requests travel to Google through a path on our own domain (/metrics), known as a Google tag gateway.
Marketing (optional). We don't run advertising or marketing tags today. If we add any, they will only run with your consent.
How consent works where you are
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Quebec, nothing optional runs until you choose. A banner asks you to accept, reject or manage cookies.
Everywhere else, analytics runs by default and there's no banner. You can turn analytics or marketing off at any time with Cookie settings; turning analytics off also deletes the Google Analytics cookies already in your browser.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to turn off advertising storage. A choice you make in Cookie settings always takes priority. We ask again if our cookie choices change, and your choice expires after six months.
